Welcome to the Sagewood Community,

Our mission is who we are; we believe in safety, teamwork, accountability and respect. Our vision is what we want to be, we will strive to make our community a better place where everyone learns.

Entering my second year as Sagewood's principal, I am ecstatic about the opportunities for student success in our building. Teachers are focused on identifying and clarifying content standards and learning targets. Using a continuous improvement model, teachers are always studying student learning and adjusting as they go. Through the use of student learning notebooks and tools such as Mastery Connect, our staff is focused on student mastery of content standards.

Sagewood is implementing the 8 Keys of Excellence this year to support our core character education program. The 8 Keys provide character traits for use to live by. Each classroom will support, teach and reinforce the 8 Keys during the course of the year. As students learn and grow with positive character traits, we are reinforcing anti-bullying initiatives through teaching positive character traits and social interactions. This is possible through a grant from the Wyoming Department of Education.
